Legal Question in Employment Law in Utah

Termination Compensation for Salaried Employees

I am a salaried employee laid off on the 2nd day of the pay period which lasts for two weeks. Is my company obligated to pay me for the entire pay period as oppossed to just the one or two days that I worked during that pay period. Additionally when I started, one week of pay was held back. Am I due that week in addition to any time I worked during that week.

Re: Termination Compensation for Salaried Employees

Absent any employment agreement, you are entitled to pay for the days worked. No more.
