Re: SLIP AND Fall

I note that your question to LawGuru.com has been directed to me as I specialize in Personal Injury law.

You can certainly sue any hotel for causing an injury if they are negligent based on applicable state law and standards. You can also sue an attorney for legal malpractice if the attorney fell below the applicable standard of care again based on applicable state law and standards. I suggest you contact an attorney in Utah for your statute question and other questions pertaining to state personal injury law.

You should be able to determine what county the hotel is located in and through directory assistance, locate the local County Bar Association. Most County Bar Associations have referral services and can direct you to a personal injury attorney in Utah who would be able to answer all of your questions about applicable state law.

Good Luck.

Sincerely,

Re: SLIP AND Fall

Two years from the date you knew or should have known of your injuries. You can sue the hotel for any damages which it caused or which it allowed to exist. You can sue and attorney for malpractice. I am not sure what you mean by "misrepresentation." You will need to provide more details.
