Legal Question in Workers Comp in Virginia

If a doctor is in a group that operatrd on my mother, does this disqualify another doctor from the same group from testifying for me in workman's comp?

technically no. In Virginia, Doctors don't usually testify( I never seen it is 20 plus years) but just submit reports. Your treating physican's opinion is given great weight.The issue will never come up except maybe in your deposition. It potentially could discredit the dr but I really can't see how. It will really be an issue of how strong is his medical report with the corect legal words to get workers comp compared to their Dr's opinion.
