Legal Question in Disability Law in Virginia

How can I terminate my parental rights? I have a child who lives with the father and I never really wanted to have a child at the time which why she is with him and I want to dissolve my rights so that have to deal with him because he was abusive.

Only a Virginia court of proper jurisdiction is empowered to terminate

the rights of a parent with respect to his or her child. (No, a notarized piece of

paper allegedly attesting to such voluntary termination with the signature of the parent will not suffice for such a matter.)
