What to if you were denied a homestead exemption because your under the age of 65?

Denied by whom, a judge? If so, appeal it. Va. Code Sec. 34-4--Creation of

exemption--specifies no such basis for denial of a claimed exemption. However,

one must be at least age 65 to claim an exemption over $5K and not exceeding

$10K.
