Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

I was trying to setup payment arrangements with my car finance company and after I submitted to them via email my payment plan to pay off my balance they responded back with an email that the arrangements were unacceptable and they need the full past due payment on or before june 30, 2010 by the close of business (5pm) or they would repossess my car.Well they repossessed my car today early this morning June 29th when I was actually going in today to make the payment. Do I have any recourse?

Other than paying the full amount demanded by the finance company in return for your car, I would think not.
