i was led to beleive that a commonwealth attorney will investigate or have investigation made into the ''false'' signature on a deed,when i approached him about the situation, he claimed it would be a ''conflict of interest''and i would have to obtain an attorney.

how can one hold such a position, and claim conflict of interest? also, who would i go to of higher position?there has been a ''criminal'' act of forgery.thank-you very much for other answers, i appreciate your web-site.

You may have spoken with a particular Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney (ACA) who may in fact have legitimately had such a possible confict of interest.

If so, you should continue with your inquiry/complaint to this person's supervisor and, if necessary, to the Commonwealth's Attorney him or herself who after all is merely your local elected offcial and of whom you should have every right to have an answer for your complaint.
