Legal Question in DUI Law in Virginia

DUI Warrant

I am from out of state and got a DUI in Virginia. I pleaded guilty to the charge. However, I was unemployed and had to go back to the states where I was residing at the time. I have not paid the fine nor attended ASAP. Now there's a bench warrant on me. I want to pay the fine. I assume that's not enough to clear the warrant or do I have to go back to Virginia? What are my options.

Thank you very much!

Re: DUI Warrant

You will have to return to Virginia to clear the warrant. Not only must you pay the fine, you must, also, complete the ASAP program (either in Virginia or, with their permission, in your state of residence).
