Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

We did not put college tuition in divorce agreement because my ex refused to put it in writing. He verbally agreed and because he did so, my son is at a particular college that would not have been an option all on me. After paying half of 1 year, he has remarried and changed his mind. I have email communication where he admits that he agreed to pay half but has changed his mind. Is there anything I can do with this?

Sure, sue him for breach of an oral contract--if you have the evidence to prove it (assuming that the three year statute of limitations on such contracts has not already run).
