Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My wife and I are in a financial hardship and she wants to go back to school to learn how to do hair. We have postponed that idea for years now since we have a small child (she's currently 4 years old). We don't have any family that can watch our child when I'm at work or if my wife goes to school. We can't afford to hire a nanny for our child. I'm thinking of sending the child oversea since I still have relatives there. Would there be a problem if my wife and I both give our consents to our relatives? What sort of paperworks do we need to fill out? What are the steps for it?

Sincerely, BitterSweet.

This is something that could be done, but before you take this drastic step, you might want to contact the Fairfax County Department of Family Services, 12011 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, VA 22035, 703-324-7800, and inquire about day care assistance or Head Start. You may qualify for assistance that will provide care for your child while your wife goes back to school. Good luck.
