Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia

Brother's will leaves money to his grandson when he reaches 25. His son wants the money now but not for the grandson's benefit. I am executor and money is in CD in my name for care of grandson. Can I legally give son money? Grandson now 9.

No. That would be failing to administer the will in accordance with the testator's expressed disire. AND it would be disinheriting a minor who because of his minority has no standing to petition the court. The only thing worse you could do is give the money to yourself.
