Legal Question in DUI Law in Washington

Good afternoon- I am writing to inquire how long a DUI remains on a criminal and/or driving record in Washington. I got a DUI in 2003, and am unsure also whether the state considers the date of the DUI to be the date of arrest or the date that I pled guilty officially (almost a year difference!).

Thank you so much.

It never comes off either record. It counts as a prior for seven years (date of incident/arrest to date of incident/arrest).

Absolutely correct. The RCWs don't do the best job in explaining this, but it is buried in there. When considering "prior" or "subsequent" DUIs, it is incident date to incident date.
