Re: alimony

Alimony in Washington is called spousal maintenance, and yes you could end up having to pay it, but probably only temporarily. How much would depend on relative incomes, and how long would depend on expectations for spouse to find work that pays reasonably or to develop skills that would allow them to work for reasonable income. Giving you any more specific idea of what could be involved without knowing the details of your situation is just guessing. You should discuss the specifics of your situation with an attorney. This is too important to leave hanging without counsel, and don't rely on her or her attorney to advise you.

Get your own attorney

It could be true that you would end up paying spousal maintenance to your soon-to-be-former spouse. On the other hand, it could also be true that neither of you will owe spousal maintenance to the other spouse.

Who would get what and owe what depends on the specific facts of your marriage. Without knowing the specific facts of your marriage, it would be difficult to say what will happen with your dissolution of marriage.

What you should likely do is to stop listening to either your wife or her attorney without first consulting your own attorney.
