Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

petition to a modification of parenting plan

Hello I am looking for advice and possibly some who can represent me. I was served paper work today 7/30/04 from my exwife regarding a modification of our court order, child custody decree/perntal plan/residential schedule. I currently have the children for 6 weeks of the summer. This all came about from me trying to schedule the childrens return flight to Washington, 3 weeks prior. My ex was unwilling to make any arrangments or come to any aggreement over the phone. She said she would call me back on Tues of the coming week and never did. I had tried contacting her after that with no return phone call. She called to talk to the children but din't speak to me. Now I receive paper work stating that I am trying to hold the children here and am unwilling to return them. Whats writen in the petition is all false and even brought my son into it. My children no nothing of the situation and my son never stated anything to his mother about his return. The papers are stating that I have abusive conduct on the phone and have made the children aware and they are impacted by the fathers abuse. What abuse? I am being accused of things that aren't even true. Its my word against hers, I really need some help fast.

You must answer this petition or you will lose by default. A hearing, before a judge, may be necessary. Suggest you retain an attorney in your locality. Good luck.
