Legal Question in Immigration Law in Washington

i am in the Philippines and working on a US visa, however, i received a 221g letter from my consulate. he asked for my sponsor's "certified" copy of active duty USAF military ID, i received ONLY the photocopy of it 5 days after i informed my sponsor. question: now that i have this, how do i certify this copy? can i find an attorney here in the philippines to certify the copy, or does it have to be certified by an american attorney?

thank you for the help :)

You generally must submit an original or a certified copy from the issuing authority. In other words, the military authority that issued the copy must have certified the copy.
