I do not know of a law that states which foot must be used to operate which pedal, especially considering that some people with disabilities do not use pedals at all to drive. That said, the standard that is likely to be used will be whether you are reckelessly endangering others by operating a car with your left foot alone. For sure if it is a manual transmission with a foot operated clutch, the answer is that it is not safe.

If it's an automatic, then I would still say it's highly unlikely you can safely operate the

vehicle, and you would be silly to take the drive test with an injured right foot and use your left, instead of waiting for your right foot to heal and then take the test.
