my father has been emailing my sister harassing nasty letter about my mother for the last 2years ,we are sick to think of this manas our father and the horrible things he aleadges our mother has done over the last 50 years of marrige to this man how do we stop it ...

You didn't say anything about your father. If these messages just started a couple of years ago, it's possible that he has a form of dementia or delusions and may need to be examined by a doctor. (Sometimes, when people develop Alzheimer's, for example, they think people are stealing from them and other things, and none of it is true - but they believe it).

If you don't think that that's the case, your sister should write to him and tell him to stop sending nasty emails or she will have all of his emails go into her "junk" folder and not read them.

If all else fails, your sister can get a restraining order. Then, if your father violates the order, she can report him to the police. This is a drastic measure, and definitely a last resort.
