Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Washington

As a beneficiary do I need to be served w/ the disbursement of funds from the estate or is it sent certified mail? My uncle who is both a beneficiary and an executor of the will just changed the probate attorney. Can I call to ask her questions and if so, is she allowed to lie to me? If he chooses to fight my being a beneficiary does he have to have me served? If so, what happens if he can't?
