death of an elderly family member

how could I view a copy of the will if the benificary (my mother) is hidding it along with my living grandmother?

The first question I have, is has the estate been probated? If it has then the will is on file at the courthouse in the probate file. If it has not been filed, you could potentially file a petition to probate the estate asserting that the estate is intestate, but this may not make any difference to the other parties and just cost you $200.00 if filing the will would not improve their position. The other question that comes to mind is why would you want to see the will or care what it says if your mother is the "beneficiary?"
