ex gave permission to leave state for military move-now need to leave the countr
I got permission to leave Wisconsin to move to California with my new husband who is in the military. We have been here over 3 yrs, and now we are to go to Japan. I would like to know if I need to keep getting permission every time we get pcs orders. Also my ex agrees to the moves but then at the last minute has his lawyer sent me a letter to say he doesn't agree, then I am made to go to the court pay the expense and then once there he agrees. Now that I'm in California do I need to keep having to go back to Wisconsin to the courts there. The expense of flying there and paying the courts for modifications is too much considering that in order to leave in the first place my ex doesn't pay child support.

Along as your husband is living in Wisconsin, the Wisconsin court will keep jurisdiction of the case. As far as the expense, if you can show the court that pattern of him jerking you around and dragging you to court each time and in the end agreeing, you might be able convince the court that he is abusing the court process and the court might make them pay your attorney fees. It also enforced the child support order, which will also help with the expenses.
