Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Pakistan
My name doesn't have a surname in my NIC and Passport , whats the legal procedure to add a surname with my name ? how long its take time in Pakistan?

if you are interested to put surname, you should request to NADRA, if they refuse you can get direction from court of law. it will take 2 to 3 months.

You should advertise in any National News paper about the change of name and then apply to NADRA and if they refuse then you may file a suit against all related departments and from where you can achieve direction to those departments about you name change.0333-6681494
