Legal Question in Technology Law in India

My friend has developed a website for a fashion company.The owner of the company hasn't given any work money except for his website.My friend hasn't provided any sort of bill to the company person.That person has taken his signature to take legal action against my friend if he will not payback the money .Is it possible?

yes you can take action against company for non payment , any person who enjoyed benefits bound to compensate a person whose lab our he has enjoyed, it is not necessary contract should be reduced into writing ,however if amount is disputed you may have to prove the amount payable for similar work by executed by others

Dear Sir / Madam,

It is impossible. The owner of the Company has paid money to your friend for developing the website and I find it hard to comprehend what is the "other work" that you are referring to for which your friend expects to get paid for. Please do not presume that the signature is taken for legal action, simply because the signature of your friend is taken in support of him / her having received the payment.
