Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

I have filed criminal case against my wife, her BF and her family against following codes.
adultery 497
cheating 420
criminal conspiracy 120b
common intention 34
There is a FIR logged in polce station u/s 497 against wife's BF. I had to go for private complaint as police refused to investigate the matter. The court has not yet made any order to the police but am expecting it shortly. Can you advise if the complaint can be taken back after court passes the order to police incase wife & fly agree their mistake.

in case the offence is compoundable, the case can be withdrawn else you can approach the high court for quashing.
