Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan

Aha.
My sister is married to an abusive man for the last 11 years. She has a 10 year old son. Her husband is physically and mentally abusive to her. He also has sexual relations (Zina) with women outside the house. His own father has disinherited him years ago because of his disrespectful nature. My sister wants a divorce or khula but her husband has threatened her that he will never let her see their son if she leaves him. Is it possible that she can take legal custody of her son permanently? The father is a very bad influence on the child and my sister is worried that she will loose her son if she tries to divorce. Please advice.

if things get proved in the court, she can get custody of her son. even otherwise , her son's statement matters in circumstances.
