Legal Question in Family Law in India
Hi,
I have been married since 5 years and since i was pregnant i had issues with Mother in law.
She always tries to dominate and she says that i should listen to whatever she says,
I am not able to tolerate her control over my life. she comments me for everything. If i cook, she does not eat my food and says its not tasty. she tries to make my husband against me. and whenever i do not listen to her she says that if my husband hits me once i will be under control.
she asks for my gold ornaments and if i don't give she says i don't respect her. my husband is very afraid of mom and he says don't back answer her and do what she says or ignore her .
I am really fed up with this.
I am currently working and my husband earns double my amount.
now if i dont listen to mother in law or give her answer back he is threatening me that he will leave me or hit me.
What can i do in this situation. i dont have any valid proofs till now as i never thot of this legal angle. and i have a daughter so am scared to get seperated from him as i am not financially strong to deal with her education and i dont have any house to stay.i dont have father.
please advice what can i do now? am educated and can live life on my own but my salary wont be enough for my kids expenses. and i need a safe place to stay if i get seperated.

Dear client u can file complaint with women cell of police under sec 498 a for physical violence. U can ask protection from husband and residence by filling domestic violence case. U can also ask monthly expenses from husband for daughter. For proper discussion call me on 9604349028 or 8446247807

file domestic violence case and u can claim maintenance for herself and for the minor and u can claim residential rent as well
