Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am male got divorced couple of years ago. I am going to get married to a lady who also got divorced. But, she is having a daughter of one and half years old. After marriage, I will be the legal father for the child. So, kindly guide me on how to update the father's name in the child's birth certificate and all other related documents like passport.
