Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Hi! what action can I take if at my workplace my colleagues who are all male have harassed me mentally and used nasty remarks and foul language with no respect towards me (being a lady) and my hardwork. Been partial and now made situations so difficult after which I stood strong but had to ultimately quit. Though they have said they will pay for 2months. I run all expenses alone and really want them to be punished.Kindly advise as I tolerated it for 4yrs.

Dear Madam,
You should have reported to the concerned Manager when these male colleagues were harassing you requesting the Manager to take remedial action against them while you were in service. You should ensure that you get paid all your dues from the Company including the compensation for 2 months if they have promised to pay you. If you are still being harassed by those ex-colleagues, you should report the matter to the Police.
