Legal Question in Employment Law in India

i worked in a senior position with a Delhi based real estate company, due to some change in top management, i resigned and though my notice period was of three months, served some 15 days after resignation and left under protest that they had held my previous month salary also.The HR sent a F&F statement vide mail after six months, but it is still unpaid even after one year.Please advise, for which i shall be grateful.

Dear Sir / Madam,

Lodging a Police complaint (Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code for "cheating" against the Employer) for recovery of your full and final settlement dues is advisable and recommended.
