Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

Department of Human Resources

My son was ordered to pay a $1000 a month child support payment for two children when he had a good paying salesman job. He has been to court several times regarding back payment. H lost his job 2 years ago, and now has his real estate license. DHR will not adjust his payments, has place a hold on his driver's license and ordered his real estate licenses suspended until his back cchild support is paid. Since he can not work, the only way he can pay the back pay is from his paremts. The judge on his case has set a high back payments. He was working as a real estate Agent.

Re: Department of Human Resources

There MIGHT be something that can be done by filing a motion with the court. He will have to make up the back payments, but perhaps the amount he has to pay can be adjusted downward depending on his income.

Please contact my office so we can talk further.

Thanks.
