Lease Termination
Good Day,
Due to a death in the family, my children and I were forced to relocate. The lease term was October to October, and I gave notice in March. I paid the April lease payment, as my vacancy date is 4/30/04. The home is now listed ''for sale'', and homes in our area are moving very quickly. Does my obligation end with the escrow date, or must I continue to pay on the lease until the termination date of October. The owners are demanding payment in full. Please advise.

If they sell the house, you no longer have any liability.
