Legal Question in Personal Injury in Alabama

abusive husband

I recently found out that my ex-husband, who was abusive while we were married, actually fractured my neck. I have varying degrees of pain, from mild to severe, due to this and was told I was lucky to be alive. Would I be entitled to any compensation from him. I am not sure of the exact time this happened as there were several incidents which could have caused it. I gave him almost everything we had just to get out of the marriage.

Well, you can always sue somebody, the question is, does he have any assets? If you win the case, can you recover anything? Does he have homeowner's insurance? If he has none of these, you are just wasting your time.
