Legal Question in Employment Law in Alaska

past 5 yrs employer has paid housing cost while working 5-6 months in alaska. Is now staying in AK full time, but will stop paying for housing. Took the job with lower pay because of this benefit. 2 other employees are keeping housing, which were bought by the employer years ago. Were told 2 months before that they were buying a place for me, but now its get out and pay for yourself. Can he change terms of employment.

Let me see if I undertand the situation:

You say that, for the last five years, you have worked for the same employer in Alaska, five or six months at a time. The employer now lives in Alaska full-time, and has now said that he (or she) will no longer pay for your housing.

Do you have a written employment contract? If so, what is the term (how long does the contract say you will be employed)? Does it mention the rent-free housing? Are you in Alaska now, and did you travel there this time (from some other state) believing you had the job including the paid housing?
