Verifying current employment for outside source
As a small business in AZ, if I receive a fax for verifiction on employment for an employee, do I legally have to respond? I believe it is from a debt collector.

Sorry, I do not feel comfortable answering your question. I am primarily a criminal defense lawyer. However, I know of no obligation to answer at private business. Additionally, I would not respond to anything I am uncertain of its source.
