You received treatment for your medical condition; therefore, with or without insurance you are responsible for paying the reasonable charges for that treatment. If you are getting letters from a lawyers office, I suspect that your bill is in collection. If you do not pay the bill or set up a payment plan, ultimately you will get sued for the charges. The statute of limitations on a contract in Arizona is 6 years from the date of the breach. It would be necessary for us to review the letters from the collection company to advise you regarding a strategy to resolve this issue. You can contact Stephanie Coulter at 602 462 1004 if you would like a review of the collection letters and develop a strategy to resolve your legal issue.
