Marijuana Possession

If issued a misdemeanor citation at I-8 checkpoint for possession of a small amount of pot and a pipe, what are my options? What are consequences of conviction moving forward? What is cost of arguing 4th amendment violation? Can attorney appear for defendent?

The consequences of a conviction would depend on what charge you are convicted of and what you want to do in the future. An attorney will defend you if you hire one. If your attorney feels arguing the 4th is appropriate in your case, that is what he will likely do.
