Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Appealing a divorce decree

A judge just issued a divorce decree in my case, but I would like the division of property. How long do I have to file an appeal?

Re: Appealing a divorce decree

You have two options with deadlines. One Deadline ("Motion for New Trial" is 15 days after the "entry" of the Decree. A Notice of Appeal must be filed within 30 days of the "entry" of the Decree.

I can explain the procedures better by phone or in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via e'mail. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss the matter in more detail.

Please call me directly to discuss the specifics of your case, or contact my assistant Alicia to schedule a free 1/2 hour consultation.
