Legal Question in Employment Law in Arizona

My company is making all it's manager's give up their private cell phone numbers so they can be available to customers 24/7. Furthermore they have stated that if you go over your minutes do to this they will reimburse you for the minutes you were over....JUST the minutes you were over on the plan. They would also only do this 1 or 2 months. That's all....we are then required to pay for everything ourselves. When I stated I did not have a cell phone, they informed me that my home phone number would be used instead.

Can a company force you to provide/pay for a personal phone and then give it out too anyone who wants it?

Can they make ME pay the monthly bill on said item without any recompense?

No, it does not seem this is right. There are privacy concerns as well as employment concerns. My guess is they are just trying to save money by not providing work cell phones. But if you protest I guess they could just say you're fired. I would consult an employment law attorney, which is not my area. Good luck!
