Legal Question in Employment Law in Arizona

Non Compete

I am a Texas LLC company. I have expanded my

business to PHX AZ. As it turns out my new sales rep

has an existing non compete agreement. However it

does not specify a geographical area and requires him

to not compete for three years.

I need to know if there is somthing that I can do to keep

this person on my team. He has received a letter from

the former employers attorney requesting him to

terminate his doings forth with. What can I do?

Re: Non Compete

You will need an attorney to evaluate the agreement. It is likely that there will be a basis to stop enforcement of the non-compete, but you should not disregard it.
