Legal Question in Personal Injury in Arizona

working on my settlement

I was in an auto accident... rear ended and thrown sideways (180 degrees) my car was totalled and I was taken out of work then put back on light duty. While I was off work, I was getting short term disability- but nothing near what I would've been getting with regular work. Do I have to deduct those payments from the final settlement? I do have an injury lawyer, but am just trying to anticipate what might happen with all this. Also- any thoughts on what to expect- $7000 car damage, $5000 medical bills, and $3000 lost wages, plus its looking like I will never make it back to my job because of the different physical aspects of it. Any ideas at all are great! thanks for your time!!
