Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona

Rental Property

I own a condo in Mesa that I rent out. The HOA say I can't rent to people with children under 18 they can only visit for 1 month out of the year. This is not a senior condo. It is stated in the HOA paper. I live in Cailforina and this would be a lawsuit waiting to happen in my state. Is the law that differnt in AZ? I have mention this to the HOA committee they this is a unfair practice and they want to see a law that say they cant do this

Thanks

Re: Rental Property

The answer requires a review of the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions governing the property as well as the Rules of the association. The CC&Rs and Rules may impose certain requirements if you agreed to them when you bought the condo and they are properly enforced by the association.

You should retain counsel to review the documents and advise you accordingly.
