Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Arizona

Is it too late to file charges?

My former boss had harassed women at my job in April of 2002. A few of these women have filed complaints already with the EEOC. The majority of these complaints revolve around me, as I was the one to blow the wistle on him by telling Human Resources about his actions. I was extreamly emotionally distrought and have not yet filed with the EEOC. Is it too late for me to file? If not, how do I go about filing?

Re: Is it too late to file charges?

it may be too late to file with the EEOC but should not be too late for you to file with the State AG's office. Call them and set up an appointment a.s.a.p. so you do not lose your right. The AG's office can perform the same function as the EEOC but gives you more time to file. Once they issue a right to sue letter(if they choose not to investigate-and you should provide them with info on the EEOC complaints if you have it), you will have only 90 days to file a claim against the employer so be careful.
