Cant be found

Hello my husband and I have been married but seperated for over 6 years he is wanting to file for divorce but right nolw I need to know what if any help I can get from him I have a son that is not his but he signed the birth certificate as he put it out of spite to be evil to me my son is now 4 years old I have been going through hard times im not working I lost my job I had a wreck lost my car and I am having it hard he is in the reserves but he says he wont do anything for me and my child and I am real bitter at him right now I have always been there financially and mentally for this man and now that im in need he wont help what if anything can I do can he be made to help me or do I just need to give up and sign the divorce papers?

Your request is almost unintelligible but I believe that you information about a divorce.

When a child is born within a marriage that child is legally assumed to be a product of that marriage. This assumption is very difficult to disturb. In fact it often cannot be disturbed unless the natural father 1) can be identified, 2) accepts paternity, 3) is in better circumstances to provide for the child.

The state is loathe to allow potential harm a child simply because the parental relationship collapses.

You need to speak with an attorney. Contact social service agencies in your locality to seek help in finding representation.
