Legal Question in Workers Comp in Arkansas

Need an attorney, Workmans Comp back injury/surgery case

I think I need an attorney. I injured myself on the job in 2002, I've had surgery on my C5-6, an ACDF, I've just winged it up untill now, but I need advise. Workmans Comp isn't nice to deal with and I'm getting very tired. I was released to go back to my job (not doing the same thing) but with the same employer, 9 months after surgery, I'm still in lots of pain but the question I have is:

If I settle now, will I still get to keep my job? The reason I ask is because before they tried to get me to settle and I would not, and that was one of the requirements if I did settle, I had to forfeit my job.

I might be interested in settling now, if they offer enough because I wil not let them ''work'' on my back again. I'm never going to be the same again, I can tell that and I don't ''need'' anymore surgeries and they are thinking about doing another surgery on the disc below the injury site. Surgery will not help, it didn't help the first time.

So really I'm just tired of all the ignorance that comes with WC. Please answer my questions. I'm in Arkansas.

Thanks
