Legal Question in Family Law in Australia

child support going to children

In the state of TN can children personally receive child support instead of the child support going to the custodial parent? If so, what age is this allowed? Is there a website where I can be directed regarding this topic?

No, although it is unfair to enrich one parent under the guise of "child support," it has to be paid to the custodial parent, not a minor. Others have tried to get it paid in-kind or directly to the child and have failed.

CHILD SUPPORT CANNOT GO TO THE CHILD. IT IS MEANT FOR THE PARENT TAKING CARE OF THE CHILD. I KNOW OF NO JUDGE THAT WOULD ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN. It is contrary to the law.
