child support arrearages

have been paying child support arrearages for many years, am now disabled and will be receiving ssdi soon, can the support agency attach my benefit check and if so, how much?

Hello!

Most District Attorney Support Offices can and do attach SSI and SSDI monies for court ordered child support.

I assume that you are operating pursuant to a Court order. If not, then there may be no "order" that will allow attachment.
