Legal Question in Disability Law in California

I am looking for Pro Bono criminal defense in the city of Long Beach or LA county. The defendant been in jail since the day he'd turned himself in, and that is on 10/19/10. He is currently being charged with 288.5 and these are my two daughters. He is currently represented by LB public defender. Since he is being charged with a serious crime, he need someone to be at least speak out loud and I believe in public defender do their job well, but not this one.

You get what you pay for. There are no "pro bono" criminal defense lawyers. That is the public defender's job. This is a serious crime, and if he doesn't want to use the public defender to plead guilty, he'll need to hire a lawyer. What about you? If you stand up for this person the DCS is going to snatch your kids saying you failed to protect them from him. You had better testify against him (if you can do so truthfully) if you want to keep your kids.

Keep looking. Pro Bono is done only by the Public Defender if you qualify, that's what the taxpayers pay big bucks for.
