if you are on probation and receive a citation for pc 242 battery misdaminor what are the results

Potential probation violation with re-institution of the original sentence, plus the new charges to deal with. Usually the PV results in some additional jail time or fines in lieu of jail. Sounds like you need counsel to help you defend this. Feel free to contact me if serious about doing so.

The prosecutor has four options:

1. Ignore it (unlikely).

2. File a petition to revoke probation.

3. File a new criminal complaint for the 242.

4. File both a petition to revoke probation and a new criminal complaint.
