Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in California

? 2--harassment restraining order

yes my court date juily 6 has to do with when the grandma had me arressted because she said i broke the order. I do not see how she can say i have called when the phone records say different . How can i be guility when i haven't done anything wrong? I also do not understand how the grandma can just pick up the phone anytime she wants to and have me arressted for nothing. by me not responding to the restraining order does that make me automaticly guility? can't i appeal the restraing order. can i place a restreaning order on her? I just want all this to end and i dont know what my rights are because it is looking like i have none.

You didn't say how long ago the restraining order was issued. If it was recent and you have a really good excuse for blowing off court, you could possibly get another hearing but I'm not optimistic. You have a right to a jury trial and to make the district attorney prove you violated the restraining order, but this will be neither easy nor cheap. Now hang up from the internet and start calling lawyers in your locality.
