Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

I was served a restraining order yesterday and I was never served nor knew this was happening in court! I will like to know how can I get this recalled andor off my background? I don't care to be around this person and I know this is to be vindictive(long story) I work in the human service non profit field and I can not have this following me! I'm in the state California! How do I move forward?

You either work out a formal settlement and dismissal of the TRO with the plaintiff, or you oppose and fight it in court. If the RO becomes permanent, you will have it on your record 'forever'. If it is a 'domestic violence' RO, it has similar impact as a felony for many purposes, including loss of 2nd Amendment firearms rights.

If serious about hiring counsel to help in this, and if this is in SoCal courts, feel free to contact me. Ill be happy to help fight and get the best outcome possible, using whatever defenses and sympathies there may be.
