Legal Question in Construction Law in California
I purchased a two story home in 2008 that was built in 2005. I had a leak from the shower down to the first floor ceiling. A plumber told me it was a shower pan crack; told me I should go after the builder for a new shower under California law. The builder told me I'm not the original owner; therefore they won't replace the shower. Who's right; my plumber or the builder?
